You have a couple of choices to make with any online campaign:

Do I outsource to a company, and if so how do I know they are good?
Do I hire someone or promote or assign someone in house, and if so how do I effectively manage and evaluate their performance?
Do I do it myself?

Too many people jump in with no plan. The Marketing Plan is the most important part - to it first. And make SOFTWARE part of your plans. The time you spend researching tools to manage, track, and evaluate your campaigns will pay for itself over and over.

I read a lot of "fluff" articles written by people who really have no idea what they are doing, and I must say that's its refreshing to find legitimate information in such a concise article.

I am currently working on generating income online. I was wondering what you think about advertising. I know you said you need to come up with a plan that fits your budget and I was wondering if it is a good idea to stick to one sort of advertising method (if it is a proven technique such as T.V. or radio) and get good at it or if you should just start trying a bunch of different things and see what is getting the best results and then refine that method?
