Thank you for this post! This is something that we have been looking into. We want to get a blog started on our site and we are unsure where to start. This does help. Thank you

Bloggers are an unusual breed. Like journalists and other kinds of specialty writers some of what they do and create is inherent based on their personality and some is learned from countless posts, often on multiple websites sometimes over years. It is difficult to tell with any degree of certainty who will make a good blogger and even harder to determine who will make a good blogger for your company. One option is to hire a company specializing not only in blogging for business and recruiting for this purpose (this is what we do) but also in creating the proper tone and look for your company's blog and what it should represent. Another option is to offer the opportunity for others in your field or perhaps even customers to guest blog, making the experience more interactive and freeing up your time for more important tasks.
