by seosmarty

Innovative GadgetsDo you love gadgets? Well, if you are going to answer “No”, you probably just don’t know what I mean.

Gadgets are little (and huge) devices that are meant to make our lives easier. They do not necessarily mean any technological innovations, sometimes these are ordinary things with enhanced functionality.

Cool gadgets.

empa7hy March 23, 2009 at 10:19 pm

Um… Crunches?

MonkeyMons March 24, 2009 at 2:56 am

It’s “crutches”, not crunches. You made that mistake twice so it can’t be a typo.

Gadgeta March 24, 2009 at 3:53 am

These are fantastic ideas. It’s just too bad that they are not in production. Would have loved those collapsible crutches a few years back.

Hasan March 24, 2009 at 5:12 am

@MonkeyMons: It has been fixed. Thanks

BK March 24, 2009 at 5:22 am

Cool gadgets! My favorite will have to be the stackable furniture set.

IGMproducts March 24, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Most of these gadgets are VERY unique and very cool! Thanks for the post.

We ordered and tried the USB heated fingerless gloves and they don’t work at all. I had them plugged in all day and didn’t get heat.

We decided to stick with heated items that really work well and get the job done: a heated mouse, heated mouse pad, heated keyboard pad and mouse hand warmer blanket pouch. They’ve all best tried, tested and work fantastic to relieve cold hands when using the computer.

@empa7hy, MonkeyMons, thanks for the catch :) I think I copy-pasted and thus the error occurred twice. Sorry, guys

tommy March 25, 2009 at 11:51 pm

Cool stuff. I think my dog would like the Peek Pet device.

Tuinmeubels March 29, 2009 at 12:03 pm

I am too lazy and i think i should have the one for tooth paste..

:)

The lady with the crutches is trying to get into the DRIVERS SEAT of the car.
Hmm…

Assa Reichert April 20, 2009 at 5:32 am

Thanks,
Great.
I really enjoyed it.
Kind regards,
Assa

I think you’re misreporting.

That bowl seems too simple to have built-in gyroscopes to ensure it doesn’t tip. Where would you put them? It’s just molded plastic construction.

I think the bowl is just weighted and gimballed.

Adelle April 30, 2009 at 4:04 am

Okay, that toothbrush fountain is just TOO COOL. The slippers with lights on the toes made me laugh. Banana holders, too! hahaha!

But the most brilliant from my perspective is the lap work station. What a terrific item to have, for someone wheelchair bound! VERY good idea.

blufindr May 31, 2009 at 4:33 am

#2 would be useless in Australia, with water restrictions and so forth. :P

Douglass June 2, 2009 at 7:24 am

Yup, the plastic bowl doesn’t have gyroscopes, it has gimbals like old sailing compasses and the awesome flight cockpit in The Last Starfighter!

Phil E. Drifter June 3, 2009 at 8:43 am

A lot of them look photoshopped.

Kyriakos M June 10, 2009 at 2:51 am

Wow usb-heated gloves

Julie June 21, 2009 at 10:16 pm

Why? lol

Some of these are just nuts,,,but they are all funny LMAO

meh July 25, 2009 at 9:05 pm

most of these are just useless gimmicky items that you try once and through it in the closet because its more of a hassle than help

ShamCross September 22, 2009 at 11:22 pm

Phil E Drifter, you are an idiot.

modina October 14, 2009 at 1:24 pm

cool but toooo funy.

Borellus November 9, 2009 at 1:38 am

Those USB mittens are epic!

Robert November 21, 2009 at 10:05 pm

These are so awesome!

Festival Shaman November 27, 2009 at 1:37 am

I wouldn’t exactly call a sponge shaped like a microphone an ‘innovation’. Otherwise, a few cool things on here.

calgary web November 28, 2009 at 10:18 pm

awesome stuff i like the stacking furniture

Johnny December 1, 2009 at 1:47 pm

In love with toothbrush, furniture, and gloves. They all really make my day. In fact, I see a purchase of mittens in the near future..

brad December 1, 2009 at 2:30 pm

mubz December 1, 2009 at 2:31 pm

robb December 7, 2009 at 3:36 pm

retractable crutches might be the most useful of them.
nice one.

gyo December 8, 2009 at 12:41 pm

I love the stackable furnitures!
The problem is they cost a bit too much:

Mike December 14, 2009 at 9:58 pm

The tray is not an innovation as it is biased against left-handed people.

thepennyblack December 15, 2009 at 3:01 am

I have the USB Mittens. They are incredible.

Time7 December 17, 2009 at 4:37 am

The Bird house will be great for those sparrows getting home late from a night of drinking otherwise great Stuff.

MIA000 December 23, 2009 at 3:35 pm

C-O-O-L! I LIKE SO MUCH THE ROCKER-SEATS!

Jeff December 24, 2009 at 9:05 pm

Very interesting and inovative. I like the stacking and space saving furniture.

Ozy December 28, 2009 at 12:12 pm

I have a similar collapsible bowl and cup set to that squishy bowl from Mountain Equipment Co-Op here in Canada… we’ve had them for years, and they’ve gone across Canada and into Europe with us. It’s a fantastic way to be able to eat and drink while travelling without resorting to disposable plates, restaurants, or bulky items in your luggage.

kendall January 20, 2010 at 2:14 pm

woow that baby bowl is pretty cooll

Roxy Aragon January 21, 2010 at 5:49 pm

hey hey hey smoke weed every day

ashley January 23, 2010 at 10:15 pm

Wow. These are so random but so useful!!!

Don Melvin February 6, 2010 at 8:10 pm

I especially like the table/chair/artwork combo. I’d also take the lighted slippers, self-righting bowls, and the collapsible bowls.

j March 6, 2010 at 3:13 am

HEATED GLOVES. Okay that’s a good one. I’m a fan of heated stuff.
I also love the toothbrush.

Benjamin Koshkin May 14, 2010 at 4:29 pm

I don’t know how practical some of these are, but they are interesting.
