Staying on topic, somewhat… -.- I saved up my salary for like 2 years, and I stayed at the Hefner Villa in Vegas, it was amazing. They had a Ford F-650 Limousine on call to go all over the strip and stuff. They also had one butler, (I think they were supposed to have two but one may have gone elsewhere) always on call for us. I stayed there for one night and then stayed at the Signature at the MGM. But the Palms was well worth it! I recommend staying there. (Without burning all your money away!) 😛

Oh wow, I thought I was reading an interesting article one moment, but when I got to the comments I felt like I was 10 again. First of all.. all the guys with the sh*tty spelling and grammar, school would be a good option for you unless you can’t afford it in which case I apologise. I must say that I don’t really like many of them. I personally think that a comfortable sleek contemporary place looks the best. I very much dislike these over the top places with gold and old fashioned furniture everywhere. I would feel 80 staying in one of those.
Number 3 looks great though. My personal favourite.
In my opinion I didn’t think the hotels were really that impressive. If I was gonna pay 40K+ I’d want some real luxury. The pictures show nothing but garbage. I’m a professional interior designer here in Florida and I’ve gotta say that these hotels really need to step up their game. Some of the pictures show how truly outdated they are.
I’ve read some comments on here and I got a few laughs from them. Rich people never use the internet to seek hotels, they have associates who are delegated to handle there vacation/business needs including booking hotels.
Secondly Owners of multimillion dollar hotels have better things to do with their time then surf the internet and talk about how rich they are, HA! In addition to that, they would never make such a claim on the internet to avoid law suites.

Its amazing how pricey the rates of some of this hotels are,honestly I can’t afford that amount and if I was to save it all up to use it all in one night, then I think I would want something abit more luxurious like using gold cutlery or just something out of the norm, but its good to know that there some hotels with such prices, one day one time it would be a great experience but a pricey one 🙂
There is also a special place in Portugal call MumaHome ( http://www.mumahome.com ) is One Room Hotel build in a penthouse in the center of Porto by a crazy designer and the price is more then 1.000 euro per night.
Maximum two person and they provide extra price ,Limusine,airplane taxi,luxury cars, Dinar and lunch special made from some of the Master Chef around the world.
A dinar can be more then 1250 euro each person !!!!!!!

I have stayed at a couple of these, sometimes..even at the smaller properties, it’s the service that makes the difference. My fave has always been the Ty Warner Penthouse at the Four Seasons in NY. I have spent weeks in that very room. They also have GREAT service!

First of all to those who are genuinely rich and have worked hard all their lives to get to where they are now, my hat goes off to you…. However I very much doubt that people like that would even leave comments bragging about how rich they are….
Secondly I am a poor man…. yes you heard me “POOR” I started work as a salesman earning a mere $500 / week and in fact struggling to keep my house last year in 2010 where we came that close to have our house repossesed by the bank… I worked hard to prove myself to the company and have been moved from sales position to Corporate Account Management and I now earn $1200/week…. was all that because of my parents or my grand dad ? NO…. Was that because of my hard work ? Probably YES to some extent…. was all that because of my Skills and Intelligence ? NO…. so what was it ? the answer is GOD’s Good Grace…. I am a devoted Christian and I believe everything comes back to HIM….. HE owns the World….. He owns everything you ever see, touch and smell…. This post was clearly meant for people who appreciate the architectural splendour & beauty of these hotels. Not for people to debate over monetary status, race & religion. I’ve stayed at the Deluxe Suite at the Burj Al Arab. It was indeed a scintillating experience. Though costly it was wonderful to stay there. The suite listed here is the Royal Suite only accessible by the Royal GCC Families. I however would love the oppertunity to stay at one of these magnificent hotels.

Are you kidding? You can feed a small African town for a year with the money some of these hotels ask for a night. These hotels are nothing but glorified extortionists. I think it is kind of a rip off . I mean, how much time would you spend at a hotel any way. Even if you come to a country for a vacation, how long do you stay in the hotel room? I am sad that people spend that much money for a room when there is so much more they could do with it. It just makes you think about the unfairness of the world.
I have no intention to stay in these hotels, But I wish to see all of them . 🙂

It was a lot of fun reading all of your posts. Amazing that hotel pictures could spark such emotion and controversy. The nicest hotel that I have stayed in was the Ritz-Carlton in San Juan. I got the penthouse with my frequent flyer miles and it didn’t cost me anything. You needed a key for the elevator. When you came in for the evening, cordials and chocolate-dipped strawberries and homemade cookies and the like were waiting. I could hardly get my 14 year old daughter to leave the hotel she loved it so much. I also stayed at the Intercontinental in Cannes. That was amazing. I swear we had our own maid as she was constantly tidying up. Their spa was wonderful. I made enough money (luckily) to pay for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I got lucky at roulette and I was only a novice. When I travel, I stay somewhere really cheap for half the time and somewhere really nice the rest of the time. Everyone needs a dream or you don’t have a dream come true. Anything your mind can believe will happen for you. (Not saying that spending a ton of money on a hotel is such a big deal….can think of many more things that would bring me joy). Wishing you all happiness whichever way you find it.
i guess i need to spend my $ 98 Million Lottery fortune on a week in one of these hotel suites.
this is so stupid. these arent even pictures of the suites, just pictures of regular rooms with pictures of the facilities. why list the most expensive rooms and put pictures of everything but?

I really feel sorry for those people who want to waste their megabucks and spend $53,000 a night for a hotel suite in Switzerland. To begin with, Europe is REALLY over- rated. The suite mentioned looks like a Euro-trash revival nighmare that someone upchucked after a big night on the town. I don’t care what’s included in the price. Money DOES NOT buy everything. Including taste.

Decor over powers the comfort, and comfort is general, not specific for a man like me. I didn’t like any of these hotels. Bad tatste as compared to my rooms in my house.
