Court Orders Britney Spears To Pay Up!

For those that believe in the stars of the astrological variety, the often relentless optimism of the Sagittarius that Brittney nurtures has been in many ways her downfall and led to behavior that even culminated with a suicide attempt a few years ago.

For the numerous fans that wished Britney would pull her act together and get back on her own feet, and begin to understand the world, which she is as an individual and what she really wants and feels, it does not seem to be happening.

In the past year, Britney was shown on camera to be indulging in bizarre behavior, such as shaving her head, wearing skirts without underwear and leaving her car on a busy road after getting a flat tire. All these things combined with her hospitalizations contributed to her losing custody of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Currently, ex-husband Kevin Federline is the sole custodian of her two little boys. Britney was allowed short visits beginning in late February after having not seen them for nearly two months. This happened because Spears and Federline modified the court order to give spears her visitation rights.

Recently, a court order from a Los Angeles Court, ordered Britney to foot the bill and pay nearly $400,000 to all the lawyers that were involved in her affairs during the past three months.
The fees also include her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin
Federline and the conservatorship issues.

These lawyers who were fighting her legal battles decided not to work with her anymore and to quit. According to Trope and Trope, a law firm, there has been a breakdown in communication with the pop princess and this has made representing her almost impossible for them.

Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled that Spears’ attorney, Samuel Ingham, appointed by the court, will continue to receive $10000 a week. The co-conservator of Spears’ finances, Andrew Wallet will receive $100000 as advance. It is reported that Wallet has not received his salary since taking over her estate issues with Britney’s father Jamie in February 2008.

Another law firm that won Jamie Spear’s (Britney’s father) control over his daughter’s affairs will also be given an advance of $175,000, as well as the lawyer representing her bother Bryan Spears, who will be given $22000.

Stacey Phillips, Spears’ new divorce lawyer has been awarded $75000.
The backdrop of the whole thing is that earlier, the court had ruled that Spears will have to pay attorney fees to Mark Vincent Kaplan, who was Federline’s counsel and Britney has been doing that ever since.
Recently, her attorney, Stacy Phillips told a Los Angeles Court that Federline should pay his own legal fees.

Britney’s lawyer told the court how Federline even tipped a waitress #2000 on a $365 bill and spent $20000 on jewelry, food and phone calls and listed them as “business expenses.” She also mentioned that Federline is getting $200,000 towards spousal checks and he omitted that part from his declaration of earnings and this shows that he has enough money to pay to his lawyers.
But Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline, pleaded poverty and requested the court that his ex-wife should continue to pay his huge law bills – around $405,000 to be precise, and Britney is being currently held responsible for the payments.

It is also said that Britney’s father and Wallet will remain in control of her life until the next hearing on July 31st. The court also ordered Britney’s estate to pay her father, James Spear $2500 weekly as compensation as well as authorizing him to lease a car.

Her fans feel that it is high time she takes charge of her life and not let everyone trample all over and they seem to still remember her as the little girl who made her debut in her first album, “Baby One More Time.”
