I am very excited and inspired by your article. I am a teacher who started using technology in my classroom. I was inspired by the students attitudes and engagement in my lessons, so I joined a company who brings technology into classrooms for students and teachers. The funding in Ontario has changed and the company I was working for laid of several people. I was one of them. I am doing everything I can to find work in this area, but there is little knowledge in the employment organizations I have been dealing with about educational technologies. I am once again a head of my time, and it is frustrating. I believe in the ability of technology to empower people, I just need to be empowered to spread my enthusiasm.
