Pod Point is one of the United Kingdoms largest electric vehicle charging companies, founded in 2009 and headquartered in London. Now majority-owned by EDF Energy, Pod Point designs, manufactures, sells, and installs home and workplace EV chargers across the UK. The company has sold over 250,000 charging points and operates the Pod Point Network of public charging stations at Tesco, Lidl, and other retail locations. For home installations, Pod Point provides the Solo 3 smart home charger with OZEV grant eligibility, app-based control, and smart tariff integration, installed by its own team of qualified OZEV-approved electricians.
