Anchor Wave is a Tucson web design and digital marketing agency launched in 2003 by Mike Schmidt from his University of Arizona dorm room. Now led operationally by CEO Lilly Darling, the company combines websites, SEO, AI search optimization, paid media and support while operating with a distributed team and continuing Tucson roots.

Anchor Wave Internet Solutions, LLC is a web design and digital marketing agency headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, launched by Mike Schmidt in his University of Arizona dorm room in 2003 as a 22-year-old graduate with a vision to become a leader in the website design industry. Schmidt was coding websites and having client meetings in that cramped dorm space, and even without a professional setting, his dedication and passion struck a chord with the businesses he worked for. As he grew the business, Schmidt understood the pressures and burdens of small business owners more deeply, coming to see clients not merely as clients but as partnerships in business, a philosophy that has guided Anchor Wave's growth ever since. The agency has grown a team of more than 25 members, all carrying a spirit of entrepreneurship and a tie to local business, with many having grown up in family-run businesses or started their own ventures. Anchor Wave's services span internet marketing, search engine optimization, web design, graphic design, email marketing, social media marketing, MarketingHub implementation, paid ads, reputation management and local SEO.
