Cybereason is a cybersecurity technology company founded in 2012 by Lior Div, Yossi Naar and Yonatan Striem-Amit. The company developed endpoint protection, extended detection and response, threat intelligence and incident-response technology used to identify and investigate malicious activity across enterprise systems. Cybereason's platform was built around correlating activity across endpoints and other telemetry so security teams could investigate broader attack campaigns rather than isolated alerts. Its product and service portfolio expanded to include endpoint detection and response, managed detection services, threat hunting, digital forensics and incident response. Manish Narula served as CEO during the period leading up to the company's acquisition. LevelBlue completed its acquisition of Cybereason in November 2025. The transaction combined Cybereason's endpoint and XDR technology with LevelBlue's managed detection and response, security operations and incident-response capabilities. Cybereason therefore should no longer be presented as an independent San Diego-headquartered cybersecurity company. Its technology and personnel now form part of LevelBlue's broader security organization.
